LOVE = Wedding

Yesterday (July 26, 2010) my husband and I were privileged to attend Scott and Shielamae’s wedding. Thanks to God the wedding turned out good and the weather was perfect, it’s not too hot and it’s not too cold. The wedding place was held in a ranch and it’s like I’m in the country side but the surrounding was full of flowers, trees and goodies. It’s so romantic and relaxing…a really beautiful place to get married to someone you love ahehehe.

While waiting for the bride, I was mingling with some of my friends that I rarely hang out with and we were drinking here and there (just wine) and it was fun. But what I love the most of that day is when the ceremony started. As I viewed the young couple Scott & Sheila standing in front of the priest yesterday, my thoughts dwelled upon how the times have changed.

Looking at them makes me cry because it was too emotional and the bride kept crying. I think because getting married is a commitment for the husband and for the wife ought to be a God-honoring commitment.  In other words, the marriage vow, in the presence of God and mankind, should be forever. Because when God grants them years to live on earth, then those years should be lived together with Christ as the Head of the household like Ephesians 5:23 tells us.  Life may bring about heartaches and joys; but with Christ we overcome and/or carry the “tears and joys of the heart.”  I loved that verse and the poem below.

A BRIDE’S WEDDING PRAYER
LORD, today I bow my heart
Before Thee on this Special Day
I thank You, Lord, for loving me
And being Master in all my ways
I thank You, Lord, that a new life begins
As I share it with my future spouse
Our hearts bow humbly before You, God
When we are married in God’s House
May You, Dear Lord, be part of us
In everything we plan
And bless us in the Coming Years
Until we reach
The Eternal Home in Heaven fair!

Anyway, the wedding was fun and there were over 100 people at the restaurant, and the food was pretty good. The bride looked great and they had these neat confetti-blasting tubes that seemed to be a lot of fun (but a pain to clean up after) and the MC did a great job of keeping the crowd active. Of course, he was speaking way too fast for me to catch most of the content, but the stuff I did understand made me laugh. OH hubby and I got the chance to dance too and it was really sweet ahehehe. All in all to make the story short after the wedding we head off directly to the couples house and party like a rockstar ahehehe!

Hello dolls!

I want to be as natural as  I can with my face, so this is my very simple summer make up look. Something that no one can tell I am wearing make up. It’s a really fresh look that focuses on glowing, soft skin, and neutral eyes with juicy lips. All I did is use a minimum products, neutral colors and highlighting my best features and that gives me a fresh, clean, and natural look that’s perfect for summer! I know it’s very simple for those who want’s to look more fabulous but my main focus is looking very flawless and fresh looking face because it’s not about making something look extravagant. Its not about making it look professional/runway like. Its about Simplicity. Because summer is perfect to wear your colors lightly to make your face look fresh instead of dark and heavy. So yeah , that is my very simple make up look. I dyed my hair for the first time!

Hi dolls! Guess what?! I have a new hair color!  Omg, I should have done this a long time ago but I was afraid to do it. Hahahaha I’m such a coward!  So yeah, surprisingly today I have the guts to do it. Why? Because I thought I wanna be different this summer. So  I dyed my hair for the first time ever!

I have black or dark brown hair and I used the Revlon Colorsilk in Light Golden Brown, I thought it would come out slightly medium brown (as the box said). But it didn’t because it lighten my hair to a brighter brown. I really have no idea why,  I guess I’ve waited too long to wash my hair but it’s okay,  I still love the result because the color is so natural. I couldn’t be more pleased. I’m just glad I did it on my own and saves me money ahehehe.

FYI – My hair color is only noticeable when I’m out in the sun. So yeah, I just wanna show off my new hair color today hahaha, I really LOVE it and I think that this look is so much better than my dark hair and my hubby agrees, too! What do you think? Oh and if you have any idea of another hair color please drop me a line.I would love to hear from you.Thank you and God bless!
