PayPal
Let’s get started:
- If you have no Eon account, you must apply online at the Union Bank website or easier just go directly to one of their Bank locations. You would be applying for the Eon CyberAccount.
- Go to Union Bank after a week or so and claim your Eon card. You need to bring 2 valid IDs. If you have photocopies of those IDs, it would be cool to bring them too just in case the bank photocopy machine is not available at the moment.
- After 2 working/banking days (or just to be sure, ask the attendant) of claiming your card, your Eon account would be active. Deposit some money on your account. Your account have to have the equivalent of US$ 1.95 on it. PayPal would be deducting that amount to your account while on the process of adding your card to PayPal. Anyway, PayPal would return it back to you once you are finish with all the steps on adding your card. You can deposit 100 or 200 Pesos =)
- You’ll need to wait for about 3 days or more, maybe a week, before you can add your Eon card on PayPal. Union Bank is sending your information to a department to lift restrictions so you’ll be able to use your card online.
- Try to add your Eon card to PayPal.
- If successful wait upto 5 working/banking days. Read Expuse guide first before you call the Union Bank center at 84-186 for Metro Manila (or 8418600 for non-PLDT or if it doesn’t) ask for your EXPUSE Number (Expanded Use Number) to finish adding your card. For domestic call , the number is 1-800-1888-2277 toll free.
- When you get your EXPUSE number, click the Finish Expanded Use Enrollment link on the To Do List.
- Enter your EXPUSE Number and you’re done.
